Piston Recordings welcomes the return of Italian DJ and producer, Anuhe, with his latest release ‘On My Side EP’ which follows his very well-received debut 'Soulsurfer'. Anuhe has been making waves in the electronic music scene since 2017, with an impressive catalogue of releases on labels such as Cliveland, Shaman Records, Kong Music Records, Conscious Records and Complex Textures. His unique sound is both fresh and exciting, and we can't wait to see what he has in store for us next. Keep an ear out for Anuhe, he's definitely a rising talent to watch.

We begin with ‘On My Side’ which delivers a wonderfully rich and deep groove filled with uplifting qualities. Chunky beats and a plucky bassline set the pace as infectious chords fade in. A rhythmic percussions section gets the toes tapping as dreamy vocals and cool FX build up the groove. Perfect fodder to rock the dancefloor. ‘Gomeisa’ is up next, ramping up the pace with fiery groove. Nice and punchy beats, infectious percussions and a groovy plucked bassline gets us moving. Airy pads and wistful chord pads fill out the spectrum as subtle melodic tones accompany the cool vocals. A definite pick for the club, this one is not to be missed. ‘Wasabi’ rounds out the release, introing with punchy kicks and crispy hi hats. A deep, rumbling bassline shores up the low-end as strange, almost eerie chords swirl overhead. Hypnotic percussions create a trippy vibe as vocals come through on the break. Superbly eclectic and one for the late-night sessions.
