Following the most exciting destination wedding on top of a pyramid deep within the jungles of Mexico, Aimee Slaughter suddenly became inspired with a song in her head that needed to be created! This song was created during the Covid epidemic, where everything including all party spots in the world were shut down. Everywhere but Tulum. It was an iconic spot for world travelers to retreat, listen to amazing music and recharge their spirits during the darkest of times. Cerrado, means 'closed' in spanish which is the lyrical foundation and inspiration of the tune! The original is a slamming, sub bass driven house stomper with electro vibes produced by close friend Evan Gamble Lewis and remixed by close friend + their wedding officiator Andrez, which is a super slick latin house vibe take on the basslectro stomper! The project was a wrap... that is, until a surprise remix by one of Aimee's favorite DJ/Producers DJ Trashy showed up and added a bangin' breaks remix to really make this release one for the books!
