For our 22nd release, we have picked up a beautiful soulful track by Australian talent, Matt Meler, featuring fellow Aussie vocalist, Ron. E. Jones. "Give It Up" is a tune that sticks in your mind and keeps your feet moving. With 4 distinct versions ripe for any occasion, this one's all thriller, no filler!
First up is Matt's "1990 Spin 'n' Rinse Cycle", which gives the track a classic groove, perfect any deep house enthusiast. With an organ bass line, squelchy synth stabs and the soulful edge of Ron E's vocal, this mix slots in nicely to the late night vibe.
The Random Soul boys then offer their trademark Nu-Disco bounce to their "Random Soul Disco Mix". A more stripped back groove and 'head-nod' tempo on the cards here. This one oozes smooth and conjures up energy from the intricate sounds and melodies that run throughout.
"The House Inspectors Remix" is up next, with his trademark jack coming thick and fast. He gives the bass some treatment and strips the drums to create a simple flow that cuts up the vocal and adds nothing but bounce to the soul of this track.
Lastly, but by no means least, is Matt's "Classic Mix", which pays tribute to a soulful sound that belongs on a warm summer's day. With elegant strings, guitar lines, saxophone riffs, lush rhodes and smooth vocals, this one has it all. For any soulful connoisseur, this is a must have!
