UK DJ/producer Latmun will add another string to his bow this February as he launches his first label project, Lateral, marking and celebrating his eighth year as an artist. A firm fixture of the global circuit with appearances at venues including DC10, Amnesia, Printworks, Club Space, Hi and Warehouse Project, his sets for the likes of Music On, Paradise and ANTS have seen his profile surge since breaking through. And yet, his stock only looks set to rise further across 2023.

Having released music via a long list of renowned labels across his career, including Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, Relief, Sola, Repopulate Mars, Mindshake and elrow music, the launch unveils a project which has been a long-time in the works - kicking things off in style with his new single, 'Just Play', with further material scheduled throughout the year ahead...

'The first release on Lateral has been a long time coming, but finding the right track has been challenging as I wanted it to reflect correctly what the label is about. Opening via a snaking bassline and crisp drum shots before building into a driving anthem armed with skittering, warped vocal samples, 'Just Play' is an impactful and mischievous cut shaped for the peak time, revealing an impressive first glimpse into the future direction of the label.
