Audio Tonic Records lies at the forefront of Dubai's electronic music scene and since launching back in 2006 has released original cuts and remixes from the likes of Jimpster, Spirit Catcher, Nikola Gala and Florian Kruse, now joining the roster is heavyweight disco bod The Revenge and Berlin based Kyodai. With releases on Freerange Records, Local Talk and a forthcoming remix on Audiojack's Gruuv imprint its safe to say Kyodai are making big waves as of late, so its no surprise to see them snapped up for this release by Audio Tonic with their attentive A&R skills.

Here the original mix of 'Shakin' kicks off the release, a stripped soulful house track with a sunset vibe. Old school rave chords run alongside classic house drum programming while the smooth soft vocals are layered on top, intricately delayed and chopped. Kyodai offer up a 'Dub Mix' to follow the original providing a more raw edge on things.

Next up is the 'Daniel Solar Remix', a tasteful rework of solid deepness from this German producer; Solar is most notably know for his work as one half of Solar & Poppcke and the reputable edits imprint Disko and has released tracks for the likes of Diynamic, Off and Meerestief to name a few. Here Daniel delivers his signature melody driven deep house with a gritty electronic bass-hook, dropped tempo disco drums, a blend of synth chords and pads and sharp cuts of the originals vocal creating a warm slo-mo interpretation.

Closing the release is 'The Revenge Remix'; Graeme Clark aka The Revenge has become a household name in the deep disco scene over the past four years having released music for Delusions Of Grandeur, Dessous, Wolf Music, Silver Network and Instruments Of Rapture as well as being one half of 6th Borough Project. Clark has quite rightly earned himself a highly praised status in the underground for his heady, tripped out elongated grooves. This remix is no different, stripping back the original vibe to a more loopy approach with minute subtleties in automation
painting the bigger picture. The production value shines through as delicate synth lines and warbling delays ease in and out of the groove and Clark signature crunchy drums drive the weight of the track, outstanding work as expected.
