La Linea - the latest EP from Class-A Deviants, now out on Degrees Ov Separation. Driving bass, moody atmospherics, and crispy percussion are the main elements of the title track. Bright, bouncy synth stabs play off the solidity of the low end that is pervasive throughout the track and automate themselves in and out as it progresses. The remix of La Linea by Tau0n jumps into the grime right off the bat, the bassline transformed into a pulse that moves the track into electro-infused mayhem in the spirit of Boyz Noize/Mr. Oizo. Overall it is a monster tune, top notch production from front to back.

Needle Juice is an exploration, an expedition into the darkness seeking out what lies in the depths beneath the earth's mantle during the bewitching hours. A slow build takes us into a synth echo breakdown perfect for 5am revelry. The remix, courtesy of label head Schugar, is a deep minimal soundscape that twists and turns, a hypnotizing kaleidoscope of loopy acid synths and percussion.
