The duo surmise: “6/4 was created quite simply through a study of the 6:4 time signature in which in the original synth line was written. There’s something very encapsulating about forming a track around conflicting time signatures. Seeing as the album was developing around the concept of time it only seemed natural to explore this further. Elongated intro’s and crescendo’s progress within the notion of evolution, the drawing out of melodic lines and the ripening of their frequencies. The driving kick forces the techno like qualities of the track to continue and flourish within their reverberated ambiance''.
