After a short break for some Random Soul productions, label bosses Yogi & Husky are back with their synthetic and underground flavours. This EP reaches into their emerging style of Nu-Disco mixed with Deep House elements, showcasing again, their amazing ability to explore and create new sounds.
Kicking things off is 'You & Me'. An ever-building, hypnotic track designed to float through the speakers, whilst still bashing your ears with a dirty Moog bass line. With smooth hook vocals by Yogi, funky guitar picks by resident guitarist Nick Norton, this track will stick in your mind and help you enjoy any kind of day.
Picking things up on the remix, the 'RSR Deep Wash' slices up and re-samples the vocal, giving the track a club bounce for the deep house heads. 909 is the flavour here and it's straight up ready to tickle your musical taste buds!
Up next is the warm and inviting, string sampling, Deep House monster, "Runnin". With some clever cuts and a beefy rolling bass, this one is primed and ready for the club. It seems to continuously build and peak, so get Runnin!
Lastly, the Nu-Disco infused 'Just A Friend'. Smooth chord progressions, vocal cuts and a dreamy synth will have you tapping your feet and nodding your head to this classy production. She's everyone's friend here.
