They'll always have the worldwide approach we're already used to, but "Campanicas" is definitely a turning-point in Ohxala's path as they move towards the Portuguese region of Terra de Miranda.

Smooth as the people who inspire it, though always cautious with the unforeseens History roughly taught them with sticks that turned war into a feast and hiking into the most percussive peace anthem that has ever been.

"Campanicas" is a 3-track album driven to the depths of Portugal, where they bring the smell of both the Atlantic and cumbia waves that are now emptied into the historical region of Galicia.

A masterpiece which defies time and space in one of the most forgotten regions of Portugal where the two-piece producers would never walk alone in such a pilgrimage: Baiuca follows them with the traditional gaita-de-foles as a cup ready to toast, while Miret tests the limits of the same land where northern folks started dancing.
