With a broad taste in music, mook has always been intrigued by electronic sounds. His older brother would be the first to introduce him to house, techno, trance, and hardstyle, which were all quite the change from the usual alternative rock and metal heard around the house growing up. Through high school mook started to find his own electronic interests, particularly trap and decided to try and create some music of his own in that style. It wasn’t until college that he started going out to music festivals and rekindled his love for 4 on the floor beats.
