Large Music welcomes to our roster newcomer Evan Iff. Less an alias per se than a fresh musical direction, Evan Iff is actually the new moniker for deep house producer Luke Alan who has already established himself with releases on Paper Recordings. I Records, Deso and more. The two tracks included here showcase Evan's determination to take his musical productions back to square one: deep, raw and emotional house music that respects the vintage sounds of the past but embraces the sonic delights of the present. The thumping title track Glory is complete with classic M1 organ stabs for the heads and gives way to the more complex and dense second track When You Get There. As a bonus to the package, we enlisted the brilliant Matthias Vogt to remix When You Get There and Matthias provides a textured and melodic journey that is reminiscent of classic 808 State style grooves.
