ZERO FATE are an electronic music duo consisting of Grammy-nominated Mikalai Skrobat, and Damir Askarov, who connected on the magical island of Bali. With their debut on Souta. they leave nothing to chance with their inaugural EP.

They lead with Hot Sand, and its catchy piano riff, worthy of hours of shower whistling. The tribal vocal chants to the rekindling of the Souta. fire before opening up the lower end of the spectrum in the drop. ZERO FATE showcases their delicate control of percussive elements throughout, restrained and precisely placed, nothing more, nothing less; with a hefty dose of dirt riding throughout.

The B-Side, Iroh, takes us on a slow-burning journey into the abyss. Unrushed by any industry standards, the progression patiently teases and taunts, smoothly fitting into many situations within a DJ’s bag of tricks, from the warm up to a momentary cool down. A well-polished and well-rounded EP and introduction on the label, and a statement that ZERO FATE is here to stay.
