We have been fans of Luigi Rocca's since his '07 releases (as Marshall) on 303 Lovers. As the electro-house and minimal landscape gave way to Tech House, his remix of NDKj's "Funkest Star" was one of our go-to floor-fillers for the early '10s. Since then, his productions and the 303Lovers label he shares with Manuel De La Mare and Federico Buratto have gone from strength to strength with regular A-list accolades from Jamie Jones, Richie Hawtin and Dubfire. Since lockdown, he has added a new string to his bow - mixing & mastering tracks for friends. For those who don't know, he is the engineer behind Moreno Pezzolato's hits (including the #1 "Sing It Back") and Kevin McKay's "Work it" and "Move Ya Body" (amongst others!). On this release, he has teamed up with Kevin (who adds writing & production) on "Shake For Me". A tough, percussive beat kicks things off before hypnotic stabs and delays bring the energy. Add to that a sultry vocal demanding that the dancefloor "Work for me, Dance for me, Move For me, Shake for me", and we can't imagine anything else but that happening. BANGER.
