The Twins now want to put as much influence & reach as they may have behind a movement of getting Africa that will hopefully set the focus on world leading African artists and labels and help the African music rise. We were exposed to so much unique music, just by walking around the streets and towns, there would be street performers who were incredible. We'd discuss between ourselves how great it would be to be able to get these street artists into a studio and how frustrating it was that such talented artists may go undiscovered. At the time we had neither the money, nor the connections to make this happen, But we made a vow to take all the inspiration we could from our experience and hopefully use it to introduce the global music scene to another culture that we'd been exposed to. Once we created these two songs, we searched to find an African Label to work with in order to hopefully help build a bridge for African artists, labels and the entire African Music industry to build upon. We hope that undiscovered talents may stand a better chance of being exposed to the world and that we may benefit from the culture that inspired us so much. It's an exciting time, especially in the USA, in which African Music is really starting to impact popular culture & we want to support the impressive growth that it has made in recent years. Living in an influential City, such as LA, we hope to expedite that growth. Being a part of such a movement would be an absolute honor for us would feel like a suitable way for us to pay back the inspiration that our time living in Africa gifted us with, that helped create these two releases.
