Mao, who only released their debut EP on Bad Life seven months ago have been busy boys since. The Brighton duo have served up an EP that infuses techno with weighty depth and garage influenced percussion in the form of 400 Blows.
Not only have they remixed Zebra Katz's massive 'Ima Read' for Mad Decent, been featured in Vice Magazine & readied a second three track EP they're also putting the finishing touches to their debut album due in the first half of 2013.
Mao's mixture of bass, broken beats, vintage R&B slowjams, techno, shoegaze, classic synths, trap music and anything else they decide to throw in is drenched in soul and emotion while also retaining a distinct dancefloor appeal.
