It still feels like Summer in Barcelona. 'Simple Guy', the new single release by Christian Vila, sounds refreshing from the beginning. Everything starts with this kind of feel-good melody, that soon enough is joined by a funky and rich bassline. Right then, it takes us by the hand to the beach. The vocals feel immediately like a classic, but they aren't the last surprise. Next to them, a brass ensemble appears, giving the release that last touch of funky sophisticated style. The whole thing, a track that walks right in the middle of the underground jackin' house sounds, and the cozy vibes of funky and soul music. Crisp!
