Derek Palmer and Hidden Tigress join forces on the next Bonzai Progressive release entitled ‘In The Moonlight’ (Remixes). The original first appeared in 2019 on South African imprint We Are Trance before being released on our Bonzai Back Catalogue label in the same year. US based Derek Palmer marks his Bonzai debut, he is a musician, composer and producer who, even at an early age, the passion for music always ran through his veins. Striving to learn, make and experience music in all forms, he embarked on a musical journey that took him through all the sights and sounds of musical life. His work has been championed by DJ's including Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Paul Van Dyk, Ben Gold, Roman Messer, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Aruna and many many more. His film music has also been used by many clients including Universal Studios, United States Army, ENP Games, Centre VR Limited and many more. Hidden Tigress aka Nicole Grace returns to Bonzai after her last effort alongside Yuriy From Russia and their very well-received ‘In The Twilight’. Smashing international standards and stereotypes for solo female artists in the music community, Nicole is a powerful force with an extensive fanbase and a very impressive back catalogue. Committed to emulating her fierce nature, while drawing an elusive curtain in front of her true personality, she embodies everything she wants to deliver in her musical performances while in the studio.

First up on remix duties is Bonzai debutant Alan Santy who has been churning out top quality trance on several labels since 2015. Here, he takes us on a sublime journey, utilising the vocal to perfection as it blends into the mix, adding to the emotive melodies beautifully. Tight beats and rhythmic percussions are joined by a chugging bassline before the stunning break which is filled with delicate notes and that enchanting vocal. Epic trance arpeggios and rolling snares take us to the climax where the groove lights up once again for the duration. Sergey Lagutin also debuts on the label, concluding the release with a top-notch remix. He’s also a prolific artist on the trance scene, dishing out superb cuts on several labels since 2016. On the interpretation here, Sergey dishes out a smooth, slow burning groover. Warm beats are stacked against a lush bassline and rhythmic percussion arrangement while Nicole’s vocal caresses the groove effortlessly. Swelling pads create hair-raising melodies as gritty 303 lines weave through the groove, making this an absolute must have.
