Something to Say

Doorly

Martin Doorly aka Doorly, a man whose productions and DJ sets refuse to be classified, returns with a tasty slice of unprecedented excellence. Doorly's productions have more twists and turns than a day out at Alton Towers. Having dabbled in dubstep, groped at grime and poked pop, it's now time for a salacious, slice of house.

The Huddersfield lad teamed up with Roland Clark (the famous voice behind Fatboy Slim, Armand Van Helden and Bob Sinclair records to name a few) to work on a spoken word vocal or 'spokal', the history of house music being the theme, and guess what, Roland Clark has something to say!

B-Side Don't Worry About see's Mr Doorly stay on the house tip, although the roots of his production are more prevalent here. The use of strings, jacking high hats and a wamping bass line are reminiscent of his earlier work.

Doorly moves to L.A. before the end of the year to continue conquering the states and also sees the release of 'Rush' his next single on Diplo's Mad Decent imprint.
