Discosteps is the work of French DJ and producer Alexis Therinca. His last release for us, the stunningly hypnotic "Don't Know Why," hit the top of the Deep House charts at the beginning of the year and stayed there for months. His follow-up, "Never Gonna Give You Up", is equally spellbinding (although, sadly, not a cover of the Rick Astley classic). Here he mixes shimmering chords and a low-slung bassline as the backing for sultry vocal work. It's another superb DJ-friendly deep heater.
