It has been 12 years since we started our story. To mark this occasion we have a brand new signing to our label, hailing from Wigan UK, Bob Barlow the newest addition to our roaster, with more to come in the next few months.
Abstract EP is Artefact's 76th release and Bob's first for our label. The EP is a two tracker, with the first track called Abstraction (Bare Chested On Horseback Mix), proper deep melodic house sound with some rolling beats and funky bassline glued with some well arranged and filtered loops.
Next one is John's Tool another example of his take on the old school deep sound, great use of percussions and loopy sounds with some disco feel to it, mixed with deep and dubby bassline. A two tracker that would work well in anyones record box, especially those that dig the deeper house sound.
