Established Dutch DJ and producer, Funkerman, makes his debut on Toolroom’s Trax imprint this July with his brand-new single, ‘Runnin’ For The Rhythm’ featuring the hypnotic, warming vocals of Tania Foster.

From his first love of pioneering US Hip Hop, through obsessive crate digging for classic Soul, Disco and Funk, to riding on the first waves of US House; Funkerman has always been on a quest to find, make and play new and exciting music. Having co-founded Flamingo Recordings with fellow producer Raf Jansen and DJ/producer Fedde Le Grand back in 2004, Funkerman has always been at the forefront of killer Dance music, working with infamous artists and signing some of the biggest House tracks of the noughties, including Ida Corr’s ‘Let Me Think About It’, Fedde Le Grand’s ‘Put Your Hands Up For Detroit’ and the Fedde/Funkerman collaboration, ‘3 Minutes To Explain’.

New single, ‘Runnin’ For The Rhythm’ infuses Funkerman’s polished, signature sound with Tania’s finessed vocals, combining a playful bassline, rolling percussion, grooving low end and heavyweight House drums, resulting in a future dancefloor anthem, perfect for the summer season!
