Polish DJ and producer Deryk Rossen debuts on Piston Recordings with the top-notch three track EP titled Never Say Never. An electronic music lover from a young age, Deryk is evolving his sound with every release he has. He finds himself connecting with House, Deep House and Tech House, blurring the lines in between. He’s seen releases on several labels including Shelving Music, RH2, Kore Music, Groove Tom Records, Club Session and more. Great to have him on board.

The release opens with the title track, Never Say Never. Chunky beats and bright hats combine alongside rhythmic percussions, setting the rhythms loose. A deep, lush bassline emerges from the depths, dominating the low end, sending out an infectious vibe. Trippy chords laden with FX mesmerize as short vocal snippets add character to the groove. Top-notch stuff. Don’t Be Afraid ramps up the energy levels with a vibrant display of deep house music. Chunky beats lead the way as frolicking hats and flowing percussions keep the feet dancing. On the low end, a deep bubbling bassline adds weight to the groove as sharp stabs combine with short vocal shots. A solid groove and a must have. Liquid Dreams rounds out the release, opening with a nice, punchy kick and snappy hi hats. Warm chords fade up alongside a plucky bassline which injects an element of funk into the groove while subtle vocals fill out the spectrum. The break reveals a symphony of arpeggios, laden with FX, which create a sublime sequence that is only broken with main groove returning for the final act. A powerful track that will not disappoint.
