Argentinian talent Diego Sosa makes his solo debut on Unnamed & Unknown with 'Hip Hop', comprising three fresh originals and a remix from Mad&Meis.

Self-taught Buenos Aires-based DJ/Producer Diego Sosa is fast becoming one of Argentina's rising stars. With releases on the likes of Cocoa, Low Groove and many more, he returns to Unnamed & Unknown for his full solo debut with 'Hip Hop' - featuring a remix from label regulars Mad&Meis.

The release kicks off with 'Everything I Want', diving straight into a signature U&U style groover. Hearty drum work and crisp percussive rhythms pave the way for mammoth pulsating sub-bass and subtle hints of melody alongside injections of commanding vocal chops from end to end.

Mad&Meis' remix of 'Everything I Want' follows, switching up the flow with a swinging beat and heavy melodic presence. Piercing hat sequences and rising synths carry the track forwards whilst creative fills and vocal shots swirl around the mix - adding endless uptempo energy.

The title track 'Hip Hop' comes next, delving back into the world of rolling terrace-ready heaters. An enormous sub-bassline and catchy rap vocals demand your attention whilst you groove along to a concoction of punchy kicks, fizzing hats and tonal percussive ripples. A track built for the peak section of the dance, igniting fist pumps and foot stomps with relative ease.

The release closes on the aptly named 'Percussive Thing', supplying endless layers of instrumental movement and flair. A stripped-back groover with driving low-frequency focus, broken up with climactic builds and rolls that add shards of character to its explicitly underground and raucous feel.
