An impressive and exciting series dating back to July 2019, "Perspectives Around the World" has seen a host of internationally acclaimed artists contribute to the four volumes so far. Vol. 5 continues to showcase the next generation of rising stars, this time from Europe, Australia, Asia, North and South America.

Israeli flair and German precision come together through Amir Telem and Nordvolk. With impressive portfolios in their own right, the duo collaborated on May 2021's "Brotherhood" for Massive Harmony Records. Their "Winds of Change" is a beautifully engineered offering that bristles with percussive verve and analog bassline energy. A rasping 8th note arpeggio pierces the rhythmic foundation as open filters and increased release times create a dense sonic collage. Hitting its stride in the second half, the track introduces new melodic elements via a club-friendly cadence that blends effortlessly with the arpeggio and bassline combination heard in the first half. The result is a hugely inspiring opener.

No stranger to the PD catalog with their "Hyperspace" EP in 2021, the Spanish duo Far Distance have been responsible for a distinctive deep and tech house sound that has seen releases on Toolroom and Somatic Records. With its chunky, angular groove, and machine gun fired hi-hats, "Technology" immediately creates a rhythmic brio. Simple melodic phrases flow atop in perfect synchrony as an industrial kick keeps a metronomic tempo. Pausing at the midpoint for a Martin Luther King Jr. speech to play out coated in pitched tape delays, the second half picks up the pace again with familiar melodic refrains that blend beautifully with smooth pads and an uplifting chord progression.

A trio of rare production talent, Fenix J, Mario Eighta, and Aves Volare have collaborated across the Atlantic Ocean in efficient fashion. Responsible for Perspectives Digital's 2019 hit "Naïve" alongside Rafael Cerato, Volare now joins forces with the Colombian and Mexican producers. A loquacious vocal contribution meandering through "Procrastinate" immediately sparks intrigue as a rolling groove and heavy beat supply club anthem status. Swirling melodies and white-noise risers contribute to the track as a spoken vocal, redolent in delays and reverb providing an instructive tone. Building with ease throughout, synth stabs and rippling arps cut through the mid-range to provide the perfect vocal accompaniment in a track that waxes and wanes in effortless fashion.

Welcoming new artists to the Perspectives Digital roster is always a rewarding experience, and in Anastasia Svoyakovskaya, it is an honor to see the Russian producer make a massive debut with her Litchi production soubriquet. "Dance With Wolves" finds Litchi creating a memorable synth sequence that rolls with neat, swung efficiency to sit within a hypnotic bedrock of bouncing bassline sequence and ticking percussive top line. Rising and falling with consummate ease, the different elements weave an immaculate path as each takes center stage, coming together in a rousing crescendo at the track's driving post-breakdown dénouement.

The final entry sees Israeli based duo, Martin Magal and Anartist join forces. Anartist has already courted success on Perspectives Digital with his "Sinai" EP with ETCH (EG). Other work for BeatFreak, Area Verde, Freegrant, and Movement Recordings has overseen a rising profile. Combining on the fast-paced "Roots", Martin and Anartist's energized bassline pattern and heavy kick provide a menacing foundation. Simultaneously, a luscious reverb and delay-laden synth motif adds dynamism and melodic character. Gently pulsating pads contribute to the soundscape at the breakdown alongside a metallic bassline stab and rasping counterpoint before extending into the second half where familiar melodies make their presence felt once more.
