Death By Misadventure Interpretations Part 1

Chymera

Chymera's album 'Death By Misadventure' was released beginning of June and got some great support and praise from various fans, fellow djs and press. It's a difficult album to pigeonhole into any one bracket and needs some time and repeated listenings in order to reveal itself fully. German Groove Magazin called it an 'instant summer breeze from the speakers', De:Bug described it as '...an album for both club and daily use' and Faze Mag as a 'Choral hypnotic Breaks-Infusion'.
The pre-single 'Strange Things Are Afoot' featured two outstanding remixes by Conforce and Claro Intelecto. We now continue with interpretations by nobody less than legend King Britt plus the extremely hot, up and coming Steve Moore, also known under his moniker Lovelock as well as being one half of the space rock duo Zombi.
King Britt went the classic way, delivering a rich piece of timeless club music with his interpretation of "Trapped in Amber' , while Steve Moore created an intense kind of Richard Wagner Techno with his remix for the albums closing tune 'Swim Away'. As an exclusive track we've added 'Threads', a wonderful tune which didn't make it onto the final album track tracklist, simply because it didn't fit into the album flow. However, it is just too good to leave it unreleased.
Alongside the music, we are more than proud to present the music video for the original of "Swim Away". New York writer/director Sofian Khan did a brilliant job with his production company Capital K Pictures. Sofian convinced James Singley, a Central Park roller skating legend, who appeared at 'America's Got Talent' not long ago, to jump into his tight, blazing red overall, and to be the protagonist of this lovely little story. We were spreechless when we saw the video for the first time, and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
