Leon welcomes Andy Catana onto his FUTURA label for his first full release after featuring on the track 'Know Your Limits' with Agustin Alvarez last year with a cutting edge EP titled 'No CDVisual' which comes complete with a remix from Voigtmann.

Vienna based Andy Catana has been a Dj since 2002 and in that time has made a name for himself by consistently delivering deep and dubby house sounds in his productions. His musical taste ranges from across the scene taking influence artists such as Kevin Yost and Jan Krueger through to Ricardo Villalobos and Len Lewis and since 2009 he's also runs his own vinyl label 'Do Easy Records'.

For his first solo release on FUTURA Catana drops a deep and dangerous 3 track EP accompanied by the remix from Voigtmann. First out of the box is 'Zulu Take' a spacey, minimal off the wall track, which is dominated with a fat kick, spacious pads and an acid bassline. Vocal cuts are strewn throughout the track whilst the blips and synth lead souds keeps you locked into mesmerizing groove.

Netx up is Voigtmann's remix of 'Zulu Take' where he keeps the tripped out vibe alive whilst adding a skippy top line and a rolling sub to keep the energy moving for the floor. The track flows through a torrent of acid leads before dropping into a tough, trippy 90s style hypnotic groove, making this one for the more discerning listener.

'No CDVisual' adds a dreamy flavour to the EP with meandering pads gently carrying you off into the cosmos. The track finds its way into a realm of a glitchy, acidy darkness with syncopated percussion and driving hi hats before turning yet another corner later on in the track as spooky pads wash over to complete the spellbinding tripped out journey for the listener to close their eyes and visualise for themselves.

For the 4th track 'Stoer des Oehr' Catana blends twisted electronica and funky metallic sounds which comes from the depths of the Viennese underground. Rolling through swinging hi hats and a funky bassline before a distorted vocal takes you into the breakdown. Wobbly leads and intricate breaks style percussion are the order of the day after the subtle drop to nicely finish off the EP with a track that is perfect for the after party.
