Next up from Z is new material from Joey Negro in his Z Factor guise, a release that harks back to the mid 90s garage sound of Nice'n'Ripe, Smack Productions, Kerri Chandler and Tony Humphries.
Both tracks are based around the same chunky metallic drum groove and are aimed at rocking the dance floor.
First up is Joey Negro's Club mix of "We'll Keep Climbing" which features vocals from Dawn Tallman over a tough driving underground bass line and stabbing, old school chords. There is also a Dub version and a powerful Accapella which is a great mixing tool.
This time Joey's Club mix of "Somebody" has a more musical garage vibe with male vocals. The Rubba Dub expands the wicked funky percussive cowbell intro to make yet another great hypnotic mixing tool which sits along side the beat driven Revival Dub version.
