Estéreos refer to stereotypes, a stereotype is a perception of someone or something because of certain characteristics that it has, for example someone dressed in expensive clothes, of a good brand can be seen as a person with money or someone "important", but it can really to be a very ordinary person who got a good outfit.
The first track (estereotipos) arises from a transition of a live set, it wasn't really a track, it was just an improvisation to take from one song to another, but by having elements of a song it created that stereotype, that they thought it was a track, and some people started asking what the name of that track was and that's why I decided to produce it.
The second track (stereotypes) is practically a "remix" of estereotipos, all the elements it has are the same, only the bpm changes, the sounds of the first track are sampled, mixed differently and with other types of effects, the name is for measuring another stereotype. In Mexico many of the people prefer brands, products, services that are from abroad, this is why they have that stereotype that something foreign is of better quality or is better, when sometimes it is not like that, it is the same in my city, many times when there are events of local artists, people don't go, but when artists from abroad come, they do go to see them. In conclusion, Estéreos is an album made from a stereotype, track 2 is a stereotype of track 1. The name comes from the definition of stereotypes.
