Jeff Sorkowitz returns to his Short Circuit imprint with a cunning 3 track EP of cutting edge Minimal Deep Tech titled 'Be There, Be Square'.
The Brooklyn based artist has previously released tracks on Hedzup, Andhera, Deeperfect, Fine Music, with his music being supported by high calibre artists like De La Swing, Okain, Francisco Allendes, Jesse Maas, and Dennis Cruz.
For his latest release on Short Circuit, he drops an exquisitely produced 3 track EP and track 1 is 'Be There'. Using dynamic beats, acid sounds and an ever-evolving groove that's aimed for the floor and people dancing, this is a deep roller filled with energy that's required when going for a night of dancing to serious music.
Track 2 is 'Be Square' a hypnotic track where Sorkowitz adds swing to the beats, works the synths to give a wonky feel, to give this track the feel of late nights in a dark room where you can just let yourself go.
Last yet not least is track 3 'Imagine' a smooth deep track with a simple yet effective sub groove. Adding in some great samples, this just grooves along using a vocal to get you thinking.
