With releases on labels such as Noir Music, Liebe*Detail, Lazy Days and their own Save Room Recordings, Hamburg duo Kruse & Nuernberg have been on the forefront of the revival of the Deep House scene in the past few years.
As remixers, they were able to put their magic touch to artists like Dennis Ferrer and Groove Armada as well as being remixed by legendary producers such as Tom Middleton and DJ Sneak. They are also part of the successful outfit "Wiretappeur", who released on John Digweed's Bedrock label.
Lazy Days Recordings is proud to announce the release of their first Artist Album, Let's Call It A Day. The pair step outside their boundaries to present us an eclectic journey through their
own musical influences such as Indie luminaries Little Dragon, Metronomy and Pheonix. Live pianos and guitars meet their electronic world with finesse through 11 songs, moving through genres and tempos seamlessly in what we think is a Classic dance album in the making.
The album features singer Stee Downes, who collaborated on last year's #1 from Lovebirds (Want You In My Soul), Nathalie Claude, who featured on Andre Lodemann (Searching) as well as Japanese singer Miwaki. They also co-produced a piece with Florian's brother, and Deep House legend, Vincenzo (Dessous, Poker Flat).
The first single, Last Chance feat. Stee Downes, is out June 25th with upcoming remixes by Spirit Catcher. The album will be out October 1st on CD through Prime Direct Distribution as well as every digital retailer via Para-Dise distribution.
