Following on from his warmly received Selador debut last year in the shape of the monstrous ‘Wake Up’, we are delighted to welcome back Panamanian maestro Carlos Barbero to Selador. Once again, he delivers a floor filler of epic proportions; featuring a vocal that generates goosebumps; and also brings two remixers of great repute to the party.

It’s quite a package, with all three versions showcasing the memorable vocal performance from Dom Fricot, all marrying brooding subtlety with undeniable hooks, yet all unique in their own right.

The original mix is a beauty, enveloping Dom’s understated but still impassioned vocal with a succession of subtle yet naggingly memorable riffs.

We are overjoyed to have Selador label debuts from two of our favourite producers delivering remixes on this release.

First up, Andre Lodemann. The Berlin-based maestro delivers a characteristically atmospheric gem, the intricacies of the music a perfect bed for the emotion in the vocal.

Also debuting on Selador, and we couldn’t be more pleased, is another globetrotter now resident in Berlin, Yulia Niko. Her interpretation goes deeeeeep, but also highlights the haunting vocal to brilliant effect
