Over the past couple of years veteran Eskimo Recordings DJ/producer George Bakalakos AKA NTEIBINT has split his focus between releasing sumptuous vocal disco and more experimental club tracks, and it’s the latter strand the Athenian returns to with his latest single 'True', which arrives complete with remixes from Boombass and Paresse. 

A bass heavy broken beat shuffler, that pairs its thunderous low end and syncopated rhythms with wind chime percussion, diaphanous vocal samples and airy washes of delicate synths that lift the track far up above the clouds.

Lifting the track even higher into the sky is the remix from NTEIBINT’s labelmate Paresse. The Swedish producer’s remix cleaves close to the original but dials ups the atmospherics, eschewing the original’s thundering bass and chopping up its drums, to deliver a stunning ambient breakbeat number.

Legendary French producer Boombass meanwhile brings the track right back to earth with a firing-on-all-cylinders acid remix, guaranteed to kickstart any party. Deceptively starting off with the track’s chorus looped over a romantic orchestral swell, before it explodes into a riot of twisted acidic squelches, 909 snares, kicks and toms.
