Pc-Pat aka Patrick Lecerf and Claud Santo debut on Piston Recordings with the top-notch three track EP titled, About That Time. The German duo have been friends for over 30 years and have worked on music together for a number of years, releasing their deep house grooves on several labels. Claud’s passion for electronic music began in the early 90’s when he put himself into the Techno scene around Switzerland, France and Germany. 2014 was a big year for him, he was nominated for several awards, receiving a Founding Member of the DJ Hall Of Fame Group based in Chicago. Pat started out in music in the early 80’s, playing guitar in some local bands. He is more into DJing, performing at events where is free to play what he wants so he can take the crowd to the dancefloor and keep them there with his choice selections. He also produces and remixes tracks on several labels. These guys deliver stunning tracks at every turn and we’re delighted to have them here at Piston.

About That Time opens the release, offering up a solid vibe filled with punchy kicks and plucky basses. A cool vocal runs through the groove as rhythmic percussions and exotic drums work their magic. Sweeping pads add character to the minimal groove, making this a definite must for the late-night session. The aptly named, Interesting Things is up next with the track grabbing attention right from the off. Groovy keys, hi strings and a solid bassline sit on a bed of tight beats and intriguing vocals which combine beautifully into a sure-fire dancefloor mover. Climbing On Top rounds out the release, delivering the ultimate funk-fuelled floor destroyer. Striking hi hats and snappy snare patterns join a strong kick that will make you move. Clubby vocals and thick, chunky basses combine effortlessly with disco strings and some funky flute action. A top-notch joint that will not disappoint.
