The Tsuba Colours series reached single No 10 last month and to co-inside we're proud to present our first compilation bringing together the very best tracks from each release. Musically the series leans towards classic & deeper shades of house with each 12” pressed on coloured vinyl with matching sleeves & labels, a must have for any collector.

Label boss Kevin Griffiths started the series with the yellow edition in Feb 2009 with the Vinyl selling out in a week & the original of ‘Cantona Kung Fu' reaching no 2 in the deep house chart on Beatport for one month. The remix from Sascha Dive started our great friendship with the Manheim producer & he's since released two singles in the series with ‘Jus Groove' (Red) and ‘Déjà Vu' (Aqua), as well as playing at our parties at Fabric, Watergate & our first ever warehouse party in London this February.

The UK's Moodymanc is another key act in the series with three releases, the first of which included ‘Thumbs Up' (Green), a staple of Luciano's sets & licensed to the first Vagabonds compilation. Our friend from Manchester is also responsible for arguably the standout track in the series, ‘Black Paint' (Black 180gram Vinyl) with the remix from Larry Heard making the RA top 50 singles of 2011 list.

Tsuba was also the first label to release the debut single from Huxley (Purple), who's since gone on to become the biggest breakthrough act in house music this year. This followed up his collaboration with Ethyl (White), which hit the top spot in deep house on Beatport for over one month. In keeping with nurturing UK talent the orange edition showed the emerging talents of Jordan Peak, complete with a rare remix from Panorama Bar resident Steffi (we waited 6 months for that one!). Mic Newman's ‘Knickerbocker' added a slice of Lime to the series this April & is one of this years biggest house tracks.

The album artwork is a specially commissioned painting by London based artists Matt & Dan www.mattanddan.co.uk who blended each release colour to create a stunning piece of art.
