Kawatin lands on Vordergrundmusik with ‘Weightless World’ EP including remixes from Reboot and Martin Merz.

Now, Vordergrundmusik welcomes the genre-bending producer with the diverse ‘Weightless World’ EP including remixes from Frankfurt’s Reboot and Vordergrundmusik favourite Martin Merz.

Emotive pads, tight hats and compressed basslines fuel the synth driven title track ‘Weightless World’, while minimal cut ‘I’m With The Drunken Robot’ boasts chunky, off-kilter beats and tumbling percussion. Next, ambient track ‘Fall Into The Sky’ throws in dream-like pads and fluttering synths in this floaty rendition before Reboot gives ‘I’m With The Drunken Robot’ a dark, robust reshape driven by rolling percussion. To close, Martin Merz serves up a driving atmospheric rework of ‘Fall Into The Sky’ as glossy keys chime over a marching beat in this ethereal production.
