After Hello World (2018) first pop album composed with the help of Artificial Intelligence technologies,(12M streams), Skygge continues his explorations with A.I. around the tale of Andersen's Shadow, in his new album Melancholia.
Alone with his intelligent machines, Skygge aka Benoit Carré composed the tracks of his new album Melancholia first on piano and guitar, before shaping the harmonies and arrangements with several artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
Inspired by Andersen's fairy tale about a shadow that emancipates itself from a poet-savant, Skygge puts into words and music the melancholic wandering of this shadow in the fairy tale's city called Melancholia, as if echoing the deserted cities of spring 2020.
You can hear new sounds, voices and instruments with hybrid timbres created with different tools accessible to the initiated and prototypes that Skygge contributes to develop with researchers from the Soundtrap France team.
