Up next on Stripped Recordings we introduce Ranj Kaler, making his debut with his "Aim Higher" EP.
Deep grooves flowing with emotion. Thats how best to describes Ranj's music. Weather it is his productions or unique DJing style. Having grown up influenced by the sounds of late 70's and early 80's Jazz Funk and Electro as well as European electronica. Having only taken up production at the beginning of the pandemic and that first lockdown in London, England in March 2020, Ranj has been quite prolific since with a plethora original tracks and remixes for labels such as Capital Heaven, Crossfade Sounds, Balkan Connection, Emotional Content and Pangea to name a few. Now comes "Aim Higher" a four track ep featuring two Original tracks, the title track and a bonus track "Tangle" accompanied by two remixes of the title track .
First up someone who we are very excited to have come into the family at Stripped, Circulation who (with former production partner Matt Jackson) were something of a legend within the scene with his critically acclaimed colour series supported the globe over by some of the worlds biggest players across the board. In 2021 Paul Davis breathed new life into Circulation after a lengthy hiatus. Now with a renewed musical maturity and all that experience, he is back where he belongs. Taking a break from his work on his own Re-Circulate imprint he has put his stamp on this track.
The second remix comes from Londoner Nichols who is no stranger to us now after two stunning remixes for our sister label Stripped Digital in 2021. He now makes his remix debut for Stripped Recordings which once again demonstrates the style which has found him winning favour with the likes of the legendary Nick Warren and many more besides.
