Charmain Love is best known for her bouncy tech house releases 'Red Sun' on Jeepers! Music, 'It's My House' on Kukushka Records and 'Obstacles' on 1980 Recordings.

She makes her DeepDownDirty debut with a real techno stomper, based around catchy synth melodies which evoke the magical nature of the element from which the track takes its name.

Starting with a hard-hitting kick and percussive hits which pop across the audio spectrum, the first breakdown introduces the main theme, a six-note synth melody, which plays against a two-note answering synth to great effect, creating a catchy, danceable groove with Charmain exploring the different musical elements until the track resolves with that strong kick.

Konvic's remix takes the tune deeper into peak-time techno territory. Strong drums, and clever filtering and re-sampling of the original synths create a 4am vibe, with the tension building to the drop after the main breakdown. The synth riffs build again to create a powerful remix that creates its own space whilst still acknowledging its debt to the original.
