For our next instalment on the label we have another Japanese artist - Nobuharu Morimoto. From his home base in Tokyo he delivers stomping, funky and fast-forward tracks, that are made to go beyond the Japanese borders and that’s how he got on our radar
We start with Shinonome - a piano-driven piece of magic, that could work for techno as well as house heads. His strong drums and the minimalistic use of the piano make it a master piece, that will carry you away above and beyond
Hyouryu is more experimental and hypnotic, yet still has Nobuharu’s signature drums with a beautiful sonic low end energy - great for those early mornings!
We finish the release off with Tsugakuro - a vocal inspired track with weird elements, that grab you from the first go. Nobuharu shows his skills in keeping things simple yet elegant, with a sparkle of Detroit influenced synth works
All in all we are more than happy to have him on board and welcome into our ever growing Say What? family
Enjoy
