After Inner Power EP and five releases later, BDTom is coming back with a remixed ep called Mandarin Drive. The original track was released on 10 October 2021 as a part of the ep mentioned above. For this release number 45, there are solid four remixes and the original. In this pack we have remixes by Addex and new artist on the label, SpecDub. For Addex, it is his first remix in almost 6 years at the label, the last one was the highly appreciated Focus remix. As for SpecDub, he never released before on our label and with his remix, brings a solid deep house version but still under the original track tone.

Addex delivers two versions of Mandarin Drive. The first version is a classic sharp and cut deep house style, with micro elements that defines his styles. You can hear all the elements from the original mix, but as the track goes along, you can sense the melody too. The second version is a soundscape edit, an ambient/reprise dub techno style with more natural elements and melancholic expression. The SpecDub remix comes bold and strong with the rhythmic style. A few vocal touches along the way of the remix, the original sounds from Mandarin Drive are there, but the constant loop of his remix sends a hypnotic vibe. Besides these three versions of remixes mentioned, BDTom made also his dub interpretation of the original.

The Mandarin Drive (Remixes) EP delivers four variations from the original track and we get that from both Addex and SpecDub remix as well as the reprise and ambient versions both from BDTom and Addex. All the four re touches keeps the same note as the original, but the harmony and fluctuation in different shades and styles of deep house, makes the ep enjoyable.
