GOGO Music delightedly presents the second single of "Joseph Junior & MAQman" following their debut release "I Don't See Love", which was put out to great critical acclaim last year in fall. For their new outing "No Better Love", Joseph and MAQman are complimenting their styles perfectly once more, delivering a lush disco and gospel pollinated House tune. Ralf GUM is doing the remix honours and furthermore teams up with MAQman for a joint remix which completes another choice addition to our catalogue.

UK born singer / songwriter Joseph Junior grew up to the sounds of Anita Baker, George Benson and Fela Kuti and soon started to appreciate Jazz from the likes of Miles, Coltrane and Ella, too. Taking influences from all aforementioned, he managed to create his very own style. Due to his outstanding song-writing skills Joseph made himself a name in the neo-soul scene quickly and some big-dogs recognized him. Hence he was invited to work alongside artists such as Omar, Roachford, Mica Paris, Jocelyn Brown or Gwen McCrae. When he came across Soulful House a few years ago, he fell in love with the genre and since never looked back.

MAQman is a very versatile Neo Soul, Hip-Hop and Soulful House producer, who started out as a keyboarder in various bands in Switzerland where he was born. Playing different styles - from Blues to Funk to Soul to Jazz - he soon toured all over Europe mainly with "The Moonraisers". It can easily be heard that he's a big admirer of all kinds of old-school black music, as his production influence mainly comes from there. He recently relocated to his homeland Vietnam, where he continues to work with well chosen musicians, which help him to ensure that his sound stays organic at any time.

Ralf GUM was lately mainly concentrating on the completion of his highly anticipated 2nd album "Never Leaves You", which will be released in September on GOGO Music. His new long player is beautifully knitted together and features a stunning list of vocalists, to prove his love for real songs and testament the fact that he has stayed true to his roots and well-honed style. In between he found the time to lend his remix skills to the project and added a version that aims straight for dance-floor. In addition and to complete the project Ralf GUM added a fierce, afro influenced beat to a deeper composition of MAQman which marks their first ever joint production.

One may call it mutual luck, fate or inevitable that Joseph Junior & MAQman's path crossed with Germany's first-rate House label GOGO Music. Their first release on the label entitled "I Don't See Love" hit Traxsource's Top Single chart right away at #3, while it received great plaudit in the various media, including a #1 on the Spirit Of House charts for 4 weeks and #1 on Solar Radio Soul Energy House charts for a whole month, too. Chicago's 5 Magazine stated that "they do stand head and shoulders above the rest" and "No Better Love" definitely has all the right ingredients to follow up the success of the debut single.
