Another follow up to DJ Duke's house classic "Old Skool Deep Sampler Vol 1.
This third installment E.P. (Vol. 3) features another string of worthwhile homages to the Joe Lewis, Kevin "Reese" Saunderson, Burrell Brothers and Adonis.
Duke has always respected the pioneers that created the house/club scene and set the grounds for what's become of the biggest music crazes in the world. For example, the early house craze in the late 80s was filled with late night after hours clubs that would bang these thumpin' deep and acid house jams by the pioneers. Duke tried to keep the tracks as close to the feeling of these pioneers, selecting the right drum machines, sounds, and overall vibe, but still keep the tracks fresh and not derivative.
