Off the back of his last release Malibu Shadows, which garnered support all across the globe, Vicious are excited to welcome back James Ash with his new release What You Need. Teaming up with former Rogue Traders bandmate Steve Decade (Steve Davis), What You Need is a shining example of this pair of producer's prowess for house music.

What You Need effortlessly weaves together Classic House inspired moments with fresh Tech House sensibilities. Leading with it’s infectious vocal hook, the track quickly settles into a thumping groove, complete with undulating basslines, stacked chords and vibrant piano.

As the name suggests, this next track on the package goes ‘dheep’, with James Ash delivering a blistering interpretation of the original. This version builds upon the track's Piano House characteristics before diving headfirst into a thunderous deep, Tech House heater. With rolling basslines and shuffling drums so juicy that it’s impossible not to groove too.

Rounding off this package & upping the tempo slightly, Berlin-based producer Chambray jumps onboard with a pumping Tech House remix. Maintaining all the rhythmic goodness of the original, Chambray swaps out the piano for warm brassy synths. Creating a cool, classy, and highly danceable rendition that’s primed and ready for the dance floor!
