Haffenfold returns to the storied Steyoyoke imprint with this evocative and elevated 2-track EP, “The Vestige”. The decadent tracks exude otherworldly ambiance which transports the listener to an unrelenting and esoteric landscape.

“The Vestige” kicks the release off with a strong groove leading into very dense flashes of flared melodic stabs. Suddenly, almost from no where, the visceral horn lead swiftly takes you into the mysterious yet euphoric atmosphere. As you return to the earthy plane, the consistent rhythm whisks you to the B-side, “Dunes of Milia”. The pulse continues, but this time paired with a more pentatonic and iconic melody reminiscent of an older, more ancient time.
