Brazilian vocalist Barbara Mendes and producer Francois K. have teamed up on a few records so far? Francois first recorded Barbara's vocals on his remix of Mes Vacances Rio by Rhinocerose. Francois then teamed up with Barbara on his own production Awakening, the classic, deep, jazzy masterpiece with Barbara's gorgeous Brazilian vocals and live instrumentation, released on Wave Music in the summer of 2002.

Now Barbara Mendes is backed by the impeccable production of both Francois K. and legendary producer Eric Kupper on this summer anthem Got To Be In Love. The story only gets better to find out that the song is co-written by the late producer/songwriter Bert Reid (RIP) (formerly of Unlimited Touch and more recently Harlem Sunshine, also on Wave Music). 'Got To Be In Love' is a slight departure from the Brazilian vibe on the previous collaborations Francois, Eric and Bert have written a song that Barbara delivers in a classic vocal house anthem style. Barbara sings and scats her heart out while Eric Kupper's savvy keyboards accompany a catchy beat that will leave you singing!
