We close 2021 with a yummy release by JIGGY (IT). The Stuttgart-based artist is truly a master of groove and showed this with previous releases on labels like VIVa Music, DPE, Ole Rec., Moan, Play Groove and many more. In addition he leads the imprint „Be Water Rec.“ with only productions by himself. Herewith lands the inherently consistent „Sunwaves EP“ in our realms and claims the connection of each track like brothers and sisters of subtle grooves and rhythms.
The first one ‚Sunwaves‘ (maybe in terms to the same named festival) has an obvious touch of the so-called Rominimal style and sticks out with freaky horn and synth sounds for proper madness. „Sunday Afters“ is a tribute to the freakiness of those special days and it lives up by its name. Thrilled by the breakdown which makes us nuts, it ends up in glory groovin’ vibes including big smiles. Third tune „Street On Fire“ catches up background babbling pounded on a proper bassline. There we go!
