Melody Monarch Keef Luv is back on KORECRAFT Dusk with a 5 track EP delivering a cleverly-written musical monument. In contrast to the earlier and airy 'Clouds EP', this release has a more cloudy and overcast mood which can be felt right off the bat. When listening to 'Heavy Weather' and its classic synths, one can feel something brewing up while watching gloomy clouds passing in fast motion. The wind blows us further into the 'Depths Of The Zahr Tree' where we start hearing sad shouts by Gaia who is deeply dissatisfied in how we treat Terra and others. Our path is merely visible here in the midst of chaos and the complexity of it all makes us crave a restart, an 'Init Procedure' of sorts. Ruby's beginning is the rundown of the former but its straight and groovy elements act as an agent of order and the positive pad pulls us up like a friend who is always there for us. Being elevated now we can see everything from a 'Different Angle' and the openness of the perfect pads lets our light shine through from within.
