Blur Records returns to present the debut of the wonderful DJ's and producers - DJ Windows 7 and Leblanc - and their three-track EP entitled "Rest Later".
Hailing from Mexico we have DJ Windows 7 - a DJ, producer, and visual artist who has been delighting the underground scene with Lo-Fi House, house music for a couple of years, having caught our attention with a collection of well-crafted tracks.
Leblanc is an Argentinian musician, producer and DJ who has been composing and playing the guitar since his teen years, having worked with different bands over the years. In the last few years, he has ventured into electronic music and has a flurry of banger releases lined up.
The first track entitled "Jet Lag", is a dancefloor-oriented track with a truly irresistible groove. The rave chord in the foreground and the rolling drums, perfectly encapsulate the artists' attention to detail and form. A track that will stand out in any late-night set.
Next is "Rest Later", an example of unbridled music energy, with a progressive stab chord and a pulsating bass that complement the track perfectly.
To close the release we have "Naranja", a superbly executed lofi techno composition, with an ominously low drum vibe, featuring an undulating synthesizer that unifies its sultry bass and funk-inspired chords in one well-accomplished production.
