Serbian-native, Montreal-based artist, producer & founder of FREE.99 Records, EL.WAV has skill that goes beyond his natural musical ability. Characteristically a cultural maverick who can also be described as a modern poet meets eclectic producer / songwriter. Perpetually dreaming and designing new projects that expand and evolve his musical and cultural repertoire. Gone Deville is a music producer specializing in electronic music, blending influences of hip-hop and house. With more than twenty years of studio time, he has collaborated with artists such as Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan and has multiple releases on international labels such as Toolroom Records.

The two producers have teamed up with South Africa’s rising talent, Tonicmotion, and Paradise Soundsystem in conjunction with FREE.99, to bring two dance floor ready remixes of Tonic’s outstanding Ampiano singles “Last Night’ and ‘Something About You’ - featuring vocalists Jasper the Jeweler & M.I Blue. The remixes are inspired by the shuffle of Amapiano, while blending a Montreal take on ‘Slowed House’ with deep basslines, heavy drums throughout. Gone Deville’s take on “Something About You’ bridges the gap between afro and groove, while EL.WAV’s remix leans more towards deep soulful chords, with a driving forward-driven percussion meant to add a ‘Dilla’ swing to the composition.
