Respekt Reworks is a new remix series where we have asked a mixture of label regulars and newcomers to give us their take on some of the highlights from the Respekt back catalogue.

For Volume 1, we are extremely proud to present one of our producer heroes: Push, taking on Spektre's huge hit 'Carnival of Souls'. The track already blended elements of Techno and Trance, so Push was the perfect fit for the remix, and boy did he deliver! Taking gated vocal pads, and layering them with classic Push production touches for a fresh take on an old favourite.

The second remix comes from Ignacio Arfeli, with his twist on Gary Burrows' rave anthem 'Burning', where he spins the vocal and breakbeat parts into a new structure entirely, with a blissed-out, euphoric organ riff taking centre stage.
